The band was founded by three friends in a small village in Belgium. After some time the band added a new member to enhance their sound. All the members were active in the doom/ stoner and sludge scene, but were looking to play faster and more psyche based music.

The band started experimenting in 2016 with psychedelic, garage, stoner and fuzzy elements. Unsure of what could happen they mixed these elements into a new machine: The Purplemachine.
