I was born in London. I am currently in Belgium perfecting my craft in home studios and back yards in Leuven. At the age of 7 I moved to Gaborone, Botswana where I spent 4 years. This move opened my eyes to different forms and experiences of music. The recorder was a compulsory instrument at school, but I developed my skills further, learning the flute and African marimba. Around the age of 10 I began to experiment with GarageBand on my brother’s Macbook. At first I was only using loops to produce simple tracks. I found that the influences of UK pop music, which I had grown up with, were evident in my productions, as well as the afro swing/afro beat sounds that surrounded me at that time.
